Abstract
XVI CENTURY MEXICAN BOOKS THE FIRST ONES PRINTED IN AMERICA AS WELL AS OUTSIDE EUROPE HAVE BEEN THE MOTIVE FOR NUMEROUS STUDIES OF RENOWNED BIBLIOGRAPHERS AS WELL AS BIBLIOPHILE COLLECTORS EVERYWHERE, WHICH EXPLAINS THE REASON WHY MANY OF THEM ARE IN FOREIGN LIBRARIES. STUDY AND RESEARCH OF DOCUMENTARY HERITAGE REQUIRES INSTRUMENTS CONCERNED WITH ALL THE IMPORTANT ASPECTS INVOLVED, LIKE IDENTIFICATION AND LOCALIZATION TO ENSURE ITS BETTER KNOWLEDGE. THIS PAPER, WHICH IS PART OF A WIDER RESEARCH IN PROCESS, DEALS WITH THESE TWO ASPECTS.Authors:
- They must sent the publication authorization letter to Investigación Bibliotecológica: archivonomía, bibliotecología e información.
- They can share the submission with the scientific community in the following ways:
- As teaching support material
- As the basis for lectures in academic conferences
- Self-archiving in academic repositories.
- Dissemination in academic networks.
- Posting to author’s blogs and personal websites
